It has been too long..!

I've taken quite the hiatus from blogging! Enough of that though. I am back. Hello again.

The Hourglass Gallery on Main Street in Melrose, MA has taken me under their wing & is now representing me. You can drop in to admire (& purchase!) some of my work, along with other talented local artists. Lorrie, the shop owner, has gathered gorgeous creations from fine art, to jewlery to home furnishings....you're bound to circling the shop for a bit!

In other news:

-New York International Gift Show: Javits Center: January 30th-February 4th. If you're in New York, check it out!

-I've finally settled into my apartment properly- painted walls & set up a corner for art. My desk has a home (that is not under my bed), so now paintings should be coming more frequently!

-SVA's publication of Portfolio 30 is out! I'm represented by my giraffe piece, next to some other pretty amazing people.

-Also, my shameless promotion for work, because our new Spring 2010 catalogue is out & looks gorgeous & should be admired! Follow the link!

stephanie - just want to say hello and that I discovered your art at Hourglass in Melrose where i live. I love the shop and an opportunity to support the artists. I fell in love with you're birds!!! i must have stopped in three or four times at the gallery to look at them and had to take them home. i purchased three from the set you had there about a month ago and just finished framing them (a do-it-myself project from my old days in art school) and just hung them over the weekend.

Hello there!

Well, thank you! I'm so glad to hear they have a good home & are being enjoyed- especially by a fellow art schooler! I would love to see your framing work if you wouldn't mind emailing me a picture! It's always nice to see your work from a different perspective.

All the best to you & your newly adorned walls!
